The program will start with an assessment that helps Lauren learn about your current intake and needs, as well as an initial face to face (virtual) consultation where more education and an individualized intervention and custom nutrition plan will be established.
Throughout the 8-week program, Lauren will be providing macronutrient goals and/or other nutrition interventions to accommodate your specific energy needs and goals. These will be adjusted throughout the program, if Lauren feels it's necessary based on your success each week!
Each week you'll gain access to a new video lesson that builds on your nutrition knowledge. These modules are quick but very impactful in ensuring your long-term success and a healthy relationship with food as you work towards your goals.
You will have access to in-app journaling and tracking that will bring an incredible awareness to your choices, so you can learn what's working, and what can be improved! No, there will be no biased or absolute statements encouraging or discouraging various nutrition lifestyles or ways of eating. The intent of the course is to educate people on the foundation of nutrition concepts that scientifically and directly impact your weight management and wellness goals. There are many ways to go about reaching these goals and this course is designed to help you better understand what will and won't work for you! Everyone is different and what may work for one person, is not a great fit for someone else. By the end of the program, you'll have direction on what is or isn't necessary, regardless of what diets or products you may currently be encouraged to utilize to reach your goals.
The program is 8 weeks with modules being released weekly, alongside the one-on-one coaching. My intent is not for people to feel they have to quickly reinvent the wheel, but rather learn over time what works well in their lifestyle... and results in maintainable progress. This is why weekly content is dripped throughout the program, as opposed to being accessible all at once.
The 7 day bonus meal plan is customized for your specific needs! If followed properly, weight will be lost at a very healthy and steady pace, while keeping you satisfied and preventing burnout. Pending various factors we learn about along the way, you could need more, or slightly less, than what is initially established in the meal plan. If for any reason we really miss the mark, we can adjust based on your needs, so you have a blue print that works for you! It is also important to know that a meal plan should not be the sole means of reaching goals, as you deserve flexibility and occasions to enjoy your favorite foods and social environments. Social environments or events will not provide the exact meal planned out on a meal plan, but that does not mean those occasions should be avoided. The purpose of the meal plan is to help you have a visual of what a week of satisfying and quality meals can do for you, before feeling like you have to do any extreme restrictions or eliminate foods you enjoy. If followed, you'll experience how a great meal prep routine, with quality whole foods, can benefit your progress and productivity for other important to-dos in your week.
The course and program is designed for weight loss in mind, although the concepts taught are the same concepts that would benefit someone wanting to maintain or gain weight, while improving their composition.
